Ugly Yet Beautiful

A nightingale is a bird which it does not have colourful feathers. Despite of it's appearance compared to other birds, it does not attract other people attention. Wait a minute, this bird can be small and dull in colour but it has this beautiful song which touches people's heart and soul by gaving everyone an impression of calmness in their mind and soul.



I quoted from the "Tablet of Ahmad" by Bahá’u’lláh

"He is the King, the All-Knowing, the Wise! Lo, the nightingale of Paradise singeth upon the twigs of the tree of Eternity, with holy and sweet melodies, proclaiming to the sincere ones the glad tidings of the nearness of God, calling the believers in the Divine Unity to the court of the Presence of the Generous One, informing the severed ones of the message which hath been revealed by God, the King, the Glorious, the Peerless, guiding the lovers to the seat of sanctity and to this resplendent beauty."

This is only a short poem on the nightingale. I will try to polish it become a better poem. Hope you enjoy. ^^

Heavenly Song

Silent morning of peace
But time does not cease
A nightingale sits on a tree
It starts to sing one-two-three

A beautiful melody circulate the land
People fill their hearts in relieved
No war nor hatred was born
Love and peace will never begone

Oh nightingale of paradise
Your song can never be sufficed
If only we can understand your lyrics
Our lives will not have conflicts
